Mushrooms are absolute powerhouses of nutrition. Reishi mushrooms alone have over 400 different nutrients! For the maximum benefits of bioactive compounds and nutrition, our Tribe utilizes the fruiting body and mycelium, the full spectrum, of the mushroom.
The fruiting body is the visible part of the mushroom we see and are familiar with, yet only makes up a small portion of the entire mushroom. The mycelium makes up a majority of the mushroom and contains potent compounds that can only be found within the mycelium.
Mycelium is the root system, responsible for finding and utilizing food sources. Mycelium will also establish communication with each other, and other plants and trees around them. Through this network, a communal nutrient exchange amongst each other occurs, forming a healthy symbiotic Tribe.
At Tribe Equine Solutions, we're just as passionate about the science and ongoing research as we are about horses' welfare. We are driven to always learn, improve, innovate, and to bring all these components together. We are fortunate enough to have an abundance of research from all over the world to take in and draw from. We hope to begin adding to that research with our products within our Tribe, with more specific research towards horses. A small collection of published studies for us to look over can be found here:
